How Manchester City’s players rated in their FA Cup thrashing of West Ham
Sergio Aguero – After going into half-time 3-0 up it seemed only a matter of time until the Argentinian got in on the act, and he duly did with a delightful flick. Could have scored with a volley on the turn in the first half but for an acrobatic Adrian save, but he’s now City’s third-highest goal-scorer in history after his 154th effort. 8.
Nolito – Came on after 60 minutes to give the excellent Silva a rest, and played his part well as City dominated midfield possession against the hapless Hammers. 6.
Alex Garcia – Very much a Guardiola player comfortable in possession, and showed that against West Ham. Nice and composed on the ball, could be one to watch for the future. 6.
Fabian Delph – Returned to the side for the final 15 minutes, but didn’t have too much to do as West Ham had essentially given the game up by then. Will be relieved to have game time under his belt. 5.
