How Manchester City’s players rated in their FA Cup thrashing of West Ham

Pep Guardiola’s first taste of FA Cup football couldn’t have gone any better for the Spaniard after his Manchester City side ran out comfortable 5-0 winners over Premier League rivals West Ham at London Stadium last night.

After a relatively even opening half an hour Yaya Toure’s contentious first-half penalty opened the floodgates, before a Havard Nortdveit own goal and David Silva’s composed finish essentially put the tie to bed before half-time.

Sergio Aguero got himself on the scoresheet shortly after the break to make it 4-0, before John Stones capped off an exceptional performance with a goal five minutes from time to complete the Hammers’ miserable evening.

Willy Caballero – Made his first appearance since the end of October and made a solid save from a deflected Antonio shot early in the first half. Can count himself lucky that Feghouli missed the follow up from his parried save with the goal gaping, otherwise it could have been a different tie. 6.
