How Kieran Trippier feels about joining West Ham United after asking to leave Newcastle United
West Ham have largely been successful with their recruitment this summer – and Newcastle No.2 Kieran Trippier is now on the radar.
Tim Steidten – Director of Foo𝓡tball at the London Stadium – has made some impressive signings, including the marquee arrivals of Crysencio Summerville and Max Kilman, with the Hammers seemingly landing every target they have pursued.
The only known exception was Jhon Duran – who West Ham bid for, but Aston Villa ultimately decided to keep.
Now – however – West Ham have seemingly failed to land another target…
Kieran Trippier unwilling to leave Newcastle for West Ham
A story from the now states that Kieran Trippier wants to leave Newcastle – but has no desire to join West Ham.
It is said that the Hammers and Everton are showing interest in the England international after he lost his spot under Eddie Hꦑowe to Tino Livramento, while the Newcastle No.2 was also repla🐼ced as team captain by Bruno Guimaraes.
As a result of these developments, the Daily Mail believe Trippier wants to leave St ♈James’ Park before the window shuts on Frid🐈ay 30th August – but has no desire to sign for West Ham as he aims to stay out of London.
Howe is said to be keen on keeping the man on Tyneside, but the right-back hims﷽elf wants out, with Atalanta and Galatasaray also showing 💧interest.
Trippier, who𝓡 has already seen his name removed from his private bo🌺x at St James’ Park, would be available for a cut-price fee, as the man from Bury only has 11 months rem🔯aining on hiꦬs contract.
Julen Lopetegui no longer has a need for the England international
While a bargain deal for Trippier could be inspired business for West Ham, given his wealth of experience afterဣ amassing 179 Premier League appearances and 54 caps for England, his lack of desire to join the Irons is hardly a disaster for Lopetegui.
The Spaniard already has two solid options in the right-back department after Aaroꦓn Wan-B๊issaka was signed from Manchester United, with the Londoner competing against Vladimir Coufal for a start.
Of course, Trippier is aღlso capable of playing at left-back, although he is not worth pushing the boat out for at the age of 33, given the quality of West Ham’s existing defensive options.
