West Ham United parted ways with Julen Lopetegui this week in what ended up being a messy situation which eventually saw Graham Potter handed the reins.

Spanish coach Lopetegui 𒀰was on thin ice for a number of weeks but in the midst of ♌a cold snap in the UK, his luck finally ran out as the West Ham board pulled the trigger.

For Lopetegui, it was a dismal end to his time in England after initially doing ok with Wolves before signing up to take the Haꦯmmers job in😼 the summer.

Another complication for Lopetegui at West Ham was his relationship with Tim Steidten. Indeed, it’s suggested S☂teidten is also under pressure despit﷽e the arrival of Potter.

As for Lopetegui, after a constant week of rumours and then his eventual sacking, he’s been left f𝔉ar from impressed.

Any manager who getꦕs sacked is never going to be over the moon with happiness but it seems how the situation panned out for Lopetegui has lꦏeft a sour taste.

According to , writing in his la🧔test newsletter, Lopetegui has been left from happy with how things panned out.

The Spaniard is believed to ‘unimpressed’ with how the Hammers handled his final few days🍬 in charge and subsequently, he leaves with any relationship at the club tarnished.

The 58-year-old is set for a nice pay of💜f d✨ue to his contract but still, his exit has been handled poorly in his eyes.

Like any new manager coming into a clu🌺b, Graham Potter is going to be looking for backing from his board to bring in new players and improve the squad.

West Ham are eff🃏ectively drifting through the season at the moment and could do with some added impetus on the whole.

Remarkably, there suggestions West Ham want to bring Marcus Rashford in for Potter, with the forward💛 being effectively ushered out by Man United.

Quite whether R൲ashford fancies the move to London, remains to be seen.
