Hope for Leeds as Barcelona decide they won’t sign Raphinha if Dembele stays
Barcelona have been heavily linked with Leeds United star Raphinha of late despite their financial issues.
It was reported earlier this week that Barca had made a £42.2 million bid for the Brazilian wideman.
Now, Spanish outlet are reporting that Raphinha has a personal agreement with Barcelona, who are yet to negotiate fully with Leeds.

But they say that there could be hope for Leeds, because the same report says that Barcelona will not sign Raphinha if Ousmane Dembele sticks around.
Dembele has turned his Barcelona career around after seemingly being close to a January exit and he is also a left-footed winger who likes cutting in from the right.
And Barca apparently do not see the value in having the 24-year-old and Raphinha in their ranks.
Offloading Dembele could also help Barcelona fund a move for Raphinha, given the budgetary constraints they have been working under.

Leeds have to hope that if they avoid relegation – which would prevent Raphinha’s cheaper release clause being activated – they can convince Raphinha to stay and be part of a new era under Jesse Marsch.
It would be a big blow to lose the wideman in the summer, but he has been so good since he came to England that other clubs were always going to show an interest.
Dembele is a free agent in the summer and could decide to leave the Nou Camp and move, no doubt earning a huge signing on fee.
But Barca are waiting to see if he will sign a new contract with them, and even that delay could help Leeds convince Raphinha to stay.
