‘His personality’…Brennan Johnson seriously impressed with 26-year-old Tottenham player v Everton
Tottenham striker Richarlison got himself another goal yesterday as he continued his resurgence in a Spurs shirt.
The Brazilian striker has looked like a new player since coming back from injury and has now scored four goals in his last three games.
For Ange Postecoglou, seeing Richarlison in form is a huge boost. The former Everton striker had looked way off since signing but now looks like he’s at least capable of attempting to step into the Harry Kane void.
And Richarlison is impressing teammates too, with Brennan Johnson admitting his confidence in Richarlison’s finishing.

“He shows his personality and his aggressiveness again to get to the front post. When he’s making those runs it’s pivotal for us wingers to try and find him because we know we can put the ball in the net,” Johnson said.

We all know Tottenham are likely to spend in January, with a new defender said to be top of Ange Postecoglou’s shopping list.
But with a week until the window actually opens, it feels like Tottenham have actually made a new signing by getting Richarlison firing.
