An international coach was blown away by Newcastle United man Nick Pope in training yesterday and used the goalkeeper as an example.

The Newcastle shot stopper was recently called up to the Three Lions squad alongside Ramsdale and Dean Henderson.
and Pope has clearly made an impression.

Coach blown away by Pope in training
Pope was facing shots from his England teammates Ramsdale and Henderson, as well as his international coach.
And at one moment, the England coach heaps praise on the Newcastle man due to his ‘high-level’ technique.
, the coach says: “Great curl! That’s a super rehearsal. High-level goalkeeping, sometimes you can take two on it like that.
“Killing it, he’s [other coach] right. It takes the sting out of the ball. High-level, using your hands.”
During the training drill, Pope also received high praise from other coaches due to his brilliant technique while shot stopping.
The Magpies goalkeeper clearly made an impression during the drill and was used as an example by the England coach.

Pope put in a solid display for Southgate’s side against Italy on Friday and could do nothing about Giacomo Raspadori’s effort in the 68th minute.
The former Burnley man has started the season in brilliant form under Eddie Howe and will be hoping to travel to Qatar with the rest of the England team next month.
Jordan Pickford is currently sidelined and the international break represents a good chance for Pope to move himself up in the pecking order.
Southgate’s men face Germany tonight after being relegated from their Nations League group last week.
Pope will be hoping to get another chance to impress between the sticks after leaving his coaches blown away in training.
