Heung-Min Son says Tottenham have a ‘really special’ £10m player who he now classes as family
Heung-min Son has hailed a Tottenham player as a family member having spent the majority of his time in north London with this teammate.
The South Korean international is regarded as a 21st-century legend at Tottenham, with Son the club captain and one of the Premier League’s best forwards, with the 32-year-old scoring 17 goals and bagging ten assists in the division last season.
With Tottenham ruling out Son leaving this summer, Spurs supporters can expect another season of the former Bayer Leverkusen star tearing up the Premier League and potentially ending the wait for a trophy in N7.
And Son has now showered one Tottenham player with praise for their friendship.

Son hails ‘next level’ Tottenham teammate Ben Davies
Speaking to the club’s official Twitter account, Son shared his admiration for defensive teammate Ben Davies, who joined Tottenham just one year before the South Korean star, where the two have become good friends on and off the pitch.
Signed for just £10m, Davies has shown his quality throughout the past decade with Tottenham, making over 300 appearances for Spurs and adapting himself to the multiple changes the club have undergone, with Son considering the Welsh international as a good friend.
Son said on Davies and their friendship: “I’ve been at clubs where I’ve been close to players, but Ben has been really special, next level. I would say he’s my family member, someone I can really trust. On the pitch, Ben is so consistent, never complains, works so hard, and plays for the team.
“He’s a consummate professional, a player everyone can look up to. Whenever he’s had to step up, he’s always shined and helped the team in lots of different circumstances. That’s his skill. He’s always there for the team, a team player and always there for the club.”
Son and Davies will want to end Tottenham’s trophy drought next season

Son will next year celebrate ten years at Tottenham, a decade of fantastic nights and personal accolades yet no silverware, something the north London side haven’t experienced since the 2008 League Cup.
Yet heading into the new season, Son and Davies will want to end Tottenham’s trophy drought for good with the pair more than deserving of a trophy given how much the pair have done for Spurs over the years.
Indeed, Son and Davies have stuck with Tottenham through thick and thin over the last decade, and the duo will want to get their hands on a title next season after so long without any silverware.
