Heung-min Son reacts on Instagram after Tottenham release four first-team players
Heung-min Son has reacted on social media after Tottenham Hotspur announced the departures of four first-team players today.
Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tanganga꧅ have all been released by Tottenham after their contracts have come to an end.
🔜It’s fair to say that many were aware that both Dier and Perisic’s days at Spurs were over after both left on loan in January ahead of their contracts expiring.
The news was less apparent with Sessegnon and Tanganga, with Tottenhamไ having the option to extend both of their contracts by a further year.
But Spurs are clearly intent on revamping Ange Postecoglouꦑ’s squad and this could mark what looks set to be a busy summer in north London.
Now, Tottenham skipper Heung-min Son has reacted to today’s on social media.

👍Son took to following today’s news and posted a picture on his story.
🌊The Tottenham skipper included a picture of himself alongside the players who have been released while tagging his now former teammates in the post.
⛎Dier has enjoyed a positive few months at Bayern Munich after his surprise switch to Germany in January.
ꦫPerisic also returned to action for Hajduk Split recently following a lengthy lay-off due to a knee injury. Both players will surely be hoping to secure permanent moves to their current clubs.
As for Tanganga, the Spurs academy product is attracting interest from the Premier League after an impressive spell at Millwall on loan.
Sessegnon has been hugely unfortunate with injuries during his time at Spurs but has been linked with a switch back to Fulham.

Tottenham need to be ruthless this summer
꧃While it’s a shame that things didn’t work out for the likes of Sessegnon and Tanganga, it feels like the right move from Spurs to allow both to leave on free transfers.
💯The same goes for Dier and Perisic as all four players were unlikely to have a future under Postecoglou.
ওTottenham have struggled to offload players in recent years and four heading out the door represents a good start on that front.
