Heung-Min Son names the Tottenham player who is ‘totally different’ this season
Heung-Min Son has been praising some of his Tottenham teammates after they beat Everton today and he had a kind word for Richarlison.
Richarlison got himself another goal as he continues to put the past behind him and impress as the main striker for Spurs.
The Brazilian underwent an operation and looks a new player since he came back. He’s netted a few in the last couple of weeks and got the crucial opening again today v Everton.
And speaking about Richarlison after the game, Spurs skipper Heung-Min Son was full of praise for his teammate.
“Richarlison is always hungry for goals. He is playing pain free and looks totally different. If he carries on like this he can be one of the greatest strikers in the Premier League,” Son .
Richarlison is like a new signing
Tottenham have yet to really replace Harry Kane after selling in the summer but Richarlison looks to finally be giving it a good go.
The Brazilian owed Spurs some big performances after quite a shocking 12 months or so. The goals weren’t there and neither were the performances.
But now, we are starting to the see the striker we saw at Everton. Richarlison looks to be full of confidence and it was quite clear the injury he had before was bothering him.
At the end of the day, Richarlison is the Brazil number nine and you don’t get that shirt without having a lot about you.
For Tottenham right now, it feels like they’ve got a new signing and that only bodes well for the rest of the season.
Ange Postecoglou seems to have a way with certain players and right now, it feels like Richarlison is one of the players really benefitting from the new manager.
