‘He’s streaky’: Pundit says 26-year-old Tottenham player is way too inconsistent
Richarlison has been on fire for Tottenham lately.
The Brazilian, quite simply, can’t stop scoring, and his recent form has played a massive part in Tottenham’s continued assault on the top four.
Richarlison has seemingly turned a corner, but some believe this is a mere purple patch in what has been an underwhelming Spurs career so far.
Indeed, speaking on the , Scott Minto has claimed that Richarlison won’t be able to keep this sort of form up, claiming that he’s too streaky as a goalscorer to really be a Golden Boot contender.

Richarlison is too streaky
Minto shared his verdict on the attacker
“They were from a top-class striker. I think it’s because he’s in a very good place right now. What I would say about the goals is that the goals would be even higher if Harry Kane was in the side. He’s playing exceptionally well, but the only thing I’d say is that he’s streaky as a goalscorer and I don’t think he will get another nine in 10, If you’re asking can he win the Golden Boot, no, Haaland is getting fitter, Salah will be back from injury soon,” Minto said.
Seen it before
Minto is spot on, Richarlison can be a very streaky player, and this run could end at anytime.
When he first arrived in England with Watford he has a very similar run of goals, while he had the same sort of run a couple of seasons ago to save Everton from relegation.
Richarlison is a lightning in a bottle player, when he’s at it, he’s incredible, but getting that sort of level out of him every week for a full season is a very tough task to say the least.
We hope that Richarlison can continue scoring in this way, but, as ever, getting this sort of level out of a player in the long-term isn’t easy.
