‘He’s something special’: Some Spurs fans urge Jose Mourinho to start ‘exciting’ 20-year-old on Thursday
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have urged Jose Mourinho to start Jack Clarke in Spurs’ upcoming Europa League game.
The 20-year-old, who celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, has made just one competitive appearance for Tottenham this season, a cameo in the 3-0 win over LASK.
Although he wasn’t on the pitch for long, Clarke nearly got himself off the mark on his Spurs debut when he curled a shot just wide of goal.

Clarke is very highly rated at Spurs and, despite his lack of game time, is a favourite amongst fans eager to see him fulfil his great potential.
Many supporters wished him a happy birthday and some took the opportunity to call for him to get a spot in the starting XI for Spurs’ home meeting with Ludogorets.

Spurs signed Clarke from Leeds United for an undisclosed fee – reported by as £8.5million – in the summer of 2019.
With Mauricio Pochettino’s blessing, he made an instant return to Elland Road on loan for the season.
However, Clarke ended up playing just 19 minutes of Championship football for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in 2019-20.
As as a result, Tottenham recalled the versatile attacker – who can play on the wing or up front – and sent him out on loan at QPR, where he made seven appearances.
