The reporter has claimed on that Werner is ready to join Tottenham on loan until the end of the season.

Tottenham are likely to cover the Germany international forward’s salary during his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

My View: Matter of time before Werner joins Spurs

In my opinion, it is only a matter of time before Timo Werner makes the move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano is also reporting that a loan deal is close, with Tottenham having the option to make it permanent at the end of the season.

It appears as though Tottenham want to get a deal wrapped up as soon as possible.

While some will question why Spurs would want to sign a forward who to make a huge impact at Chelsea, Tottenham fans should be encouraged that the club’s bosses are being quick in their transfer business.
