‘He’s on his knees to join us’: Arsenal fans react to what they’ve read about reported Spurs target

Both Arsenal and Spurs have been linked with Houssem Aouar over the past year or so.

The Gunners reportedly tried to sign Aouar last year, while Tottenham have been eyeing the Lyon ace this summer.

However, Spurs chief Fabio Paratici is believed to have aside from midfield.

And Arsenal appear to be trying to sign James Maddison from Leicester instead.

According to , this has left Aouar’s representatives stunned, as they’re still hoping for a Gunners move.

The 23-year-old is apparently available for just £25million, with Lyon reportedly willing to sell some of their main assets.

But Arsenal, despite readying a wage packet of £100,000-a-week, are yet to make a fresh bid for Aouar, added the report.
