Belgian outlet has claimed that Youri Tielemans is just waiting for an official offer from Arsenal ahead of a potential move this summer.

The 25-year-old Leicester City star will soon enter the final year of his contract. He is expected by many to move on, and no club has been linked with a move for him more than Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

The Gunners are keen to bolster their midfield before the start of the new season. Arteta is looking for someone a lot more dynamic than Granit Xhaka in the middle of the park, and Tielemans really does check the box.

If Terreur is to be believed, the Foxes star is just waiting for the green light to switch the King Power for the Emirates this summer.

Speaking about all the Belgian players in the Premier League, Terreur told , as quoted by : “I’m following all Belgian players around in Europe.

“A few years ago, they were all in the Premier League, so I watch a lot of games. And of course, as players are moving I’m checking on their movements every two days.

“There are a few Belgians who will move this summer.

“Not to mention Lukaku, who wants to leave Chelsea and go back to Inter. Youri Tielemans – he’s just waiting for an offer from Arsenal, I think.”

Tielemans is exactly what Arsenal need.

The Belgian is still fairly young, has a ton of experience under his belt, knows the Premier League very well, and can score and create chances from the middle of the park on a regular basis.

Just to compare, over the last three seasons, Xhaka has played 89 times for Arsenal and has nine direct goal contributions to his name – three goals and six assists. Tielemans, on the other hand, has scored 15 goals and provided 14 assists in the same period, which shows just how good he is.

The 25-year-old, branded as an ‘outstanding’ player by Brendan Rodgers, would be a fantastic signing for Arsenal, and Gooners will be hoping that Edu can wrap this deal up very quickly.
