‘He’s grown a lot’: Jesse Marsch says Leeds United player has improved loads recently, but he might still leave
Jesse Marsch has been speaking ahead of Leeds United’s Premier League clash with Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
One of the players Marsch was asked about was young defender Cody Drameh.

Marsch believes Drameh has improved loads, after spending the second half of last season on loan at Championship side Cardiff City.
It was a successful move for the right-back as he quickly became first choice in Wales.
Drameh played 22 times for the Bluebirds, providing three assists as Cardiff avoided a relegation scrap.
Marsch thinks Drameh has improved loads
: “Cody and I had some tough conversations at the end of last season.
“I challenged him to think about being here. I think over time he’s enjoyed being here, in there he’s played (some) good football.
“The key for him is not to need the enjoyment and to need the drive to be the best he can possibly be, challenge himself at a high level and I think he’s done that in a big way.

“I think he’s grown a lot within the last weeks.
“What happens with him going forward, it’s not totally solidified one way or the other, the window is still open, he knows he still wants to play games but we value him here.”
Drameh has been on the bench for all three of Leeds’ Premier League matches, but has yet to be called upon in the league.
He played 90 minutes against Barnsley, picking up a booking and

The full-back had a great game in pre-season against Blackpool, and is currently the understudy to new signing Rasmus Kristensen.
However, once Luke Ayling returns from injury, Drameh will be too far down the pecking order to expect many minutes this season.
A full campaign in the Championship could benefit Drameh greatly as he continues to improve, and Marsch will be considering if he could be Leeds’ long-term right-back solution.
