Arsenal fans are growing increasingly confident that they can sign Houssem Aouar, after the latest development .

Arsenal have been said to be long term admirers of Aouar.

They pursued the Lyon midfielder heavily last summer, that he remains a player of interest this time around.

Arsenal failed to get a deal over the line last year, but Aouar is now reportedly pushing for a move.

Arsenal are prepared to offer Aouar £100,000-a-week to join them, which would be a sign of how highly they rate the player.

Aouar hasn’t enjoyed his best season at Lyon, but there was a time when he was regarded as one of the best up-and-coming talents in Europe.

At the age of 22, Aouar still has time on his side as he seeks to find his top form.
