Matty Cash raved about Aston Villa’s new signing from Arsenal, Calum Chambers, following his performanꦗce against Leeds United last night.

After three games without a win a few weeks 🎐ago, Steven Gerrard’s si𝕴de have now won three in a row in the Premier League.

A lot was expected of L༺eeds United under Jesse Marsch last night, but the Villans made it look easy and completely deser🐈ved the win at Elland Road yesterday.

Philippe Coutinho and Matty Cash gave Villa a 2-ꦆ0 lead but it was Chambers’ stunner late in the game that was the pick oꦏf the night.

Matty Cash: Ex-Arsenal man Calum Chambers is brilliant

A free-kickꦐ from🐈 the left side of the pitch made its way to Tyrone Mings inside the Leeds box. The centre-half passed the ball to Chambers, who was at the edge of the area, and the ex-Arsenal man found the top corner with a stunning strike.

Cash, the from Nottingham Forest in 2020, said about Chambers’ goal on yesterday after the game: “Unbelievable. His pass last week (against Southamp♌ton) was unreal as well.

“He’s brilliant!

“He’s come in and settled in really well. And to se🃏e that fly in the top corner was brilliant as well.”

Chambers has always been aꦜ quality player but it just never happened for him at Arsenal. His performances at the end of last seaﷺson at right-back were really good but Mikel Arteta went and bought Takehiro Tomiyasu in the summer.

That ended Chambers’ hopes of regular game ꦰtime at Arsenal and he had to make a decision about his future 💃in January.

Just l🦩ike how Villa signed Danny Ings last year, they wrapꦍped up a deal for Chambers without anybody finding out.

Arsenal fans didn’t really care about the move at that point, but seeing how well Chambers is playin🌃g now while Tomiyasu is out injured may make some of them wonder if they made a mistake letting the Englishman leave six weeks ago.
