‘He’s been so dynamic’: Neil Lennon hails Liverpool fringe player v Milan
Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been praised by Neil Lennon for his Champions League display on Tuesday night.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp rung the changes for their final Group B game, away at Milan.
Liverpool had already sealed top spot in the group and could afford to rest key players.

And the Reds’ much-changed team certainly gave Klopp food for thought with an impressive display.
Fikayo Tomori opened the scoring for the hosts, but Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi struck back.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain put in an especially superb showing.
The Liverpool midfielder often drove forward and looked to break at every opportunity.
Indeed, one of Oxlade-Chamberlain’s shots troubled Mike Maignan and led to Salah’s equaliser.
Neil Lennon, commentating on BBC Radio 5 Live, was impressed with the England international.
“I’d love to see Oxlade-Chamberlain keep fit for a while and get a run in the team,” he said ().
“He’s been so dynamic tonight.”

It’s great to see Oxlade-Chamberlain returning to form, having endured a difficult time at Anfield.
He made just 17 appearances in 2020-21, due in part to a knee injury that kept him out in the first half of the season.
However, Oxlade-Chamberlain is looking back to his best and is featuring more often this term.
He’s still somewhat of a fringe player, with just three Premier League starts so far.
But surely this will change as the season goes on and he’ll be a regular starter soon.
