‘He’s absolutely massive’: Pundit stunned by how big £27m Tottenham player is after seeing him in person

Tottenham fans got their first look of Radu Dragusin this weekend as he came off the bench to make his debut against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Dragusin may have only have played five minutes at the weekend, but his presence on the pitch was certainly noticeable.

Speaking on , Lianne Sanderson has been discussing Dragusin’s debut as she was watching from the stands, and she says she was blown away by the size of the Tottenham defender.

Sanderson says that she immediately noted Dragusin’s immense height, claiming that he’s not a player she’d want to be running at him.

Dragusin is huge

Sanderson noted just how big the centre-back is.

“Yeah he’s absolutely massive isn’t he? When he came into the game yesterday I said to my mate ‘what is he like 6 ft 5 or something?’ What a unit. I wouldn’t want him running at me that’s for sure,” Sanderson said.

Scary

There’s a reason Dragusin’s nickname at Genoa was ‘The Train’ he’s physically imposing and he backs up that size with immense speed and power as well.

Dragusin may not have played much Premier League football, but he already looks every bit a Premier League centre-half. He’s absolutely massive and he’s super quick as well.

Ange Postecoglou can teach him the finer points of the game such as how to read the game and the system of playing out from the back, but in terms of physical attributes, there aren’t many players who can hold a candle to Dragusin.

Let’s hope that Dragusin’s physical abilities can be put to good use and he can dominate opposition attackers in the Premier League for Tottenham.

At the age of 21, the Romanian may still even be growing, and that’s an even more frightening prospect.

Spurs certainly have a player who looks the part in the shape of Dragusin.
