“I always saw Ross as a number eight as more of a box to box. Now he’s more of a number six. Physically he is a machine. Don’t get me wrong, physically he’s one of the fittest players I have played with, he’s the standout in this Luton side, and he makes this team tick,” Fabregas said.
Finally showing his potential
Barkley looked like he was going to be a superstar when he was coming through at Everton, and while his big move to Chelsea didn’t work out, he’s now showing just how good he is at Luton of all places.
The Hatters have helped Barkley rediscover his very best form, and who knows? Perhaps an England recall could even be on the horizon for the midfielder.
