‘Here we go expected soon’: Fabrizio Romano has transfer update for Newcastle fans
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Manchester United have reached an agreement in principle to sign Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
The Magpies shot-stopper lost his first-team spot at St James’ Park following the arrival of Nick Pope.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are reportedly looking for a new goalkeeper to compete with David de Gea.

According to the , they turned to Dubravka last week after being quoted £21m for Frankfurt’s Kevin Trapp.
The same outlet claims Man United wanted to sign the Newcastle man on loan with an option to buy.
Apparently, the Magpies wanted a straight sale for £5million, but it looks as though they have softened their stance.
Romano has taken to Twitter to claim that Newcastle are ready to accept a loan with buy option clause worth £5m.
“Final details are being discussed as personal terms are already agreed,” he added. “Here we go expected soon.”
Dubravka played 26 times for Newcastle last season in the Premier League and kept eight clean sheets.
He has made 130 appearances for the Magpies and won their Player of the Season award in 2020.
However, Dubravka wasn’t in the Newcastle matchday squads against Tranmere in the Carabao Cup and Wolves in the league.
Karl Darlow started against Tranmere and was a substitute at Molineux with Pope returning in between the sticks.
