Henry Onyekuru and three other Everton loanees who could feature next season

Everton currently have 20 players out on loan and Marco Silva will be keeping his tabs on their progress. Several players are performing well and staking a claim for next season.

Here are four current loanees that Everton manager Silva could use next season.

England under-21 midfielder Dowell is playing a major role in Sheffield United’s promotion bid in the Championship.

The 21-year-old is a talented left-footed central midfielder who could use his Championship experience to break into the Everton side.

Everton sent Holgate to West Brom in January and he is getting regular playing time under his belt as the Baggies push for promotion.

The 22-year-old operates at right-back or centre-back and Everton could do with some depth in both departments.

Leighton Baines is out of contract at the end of this season and Everton could promote Robinson as the back-up left-back behind Lucas Digne.

The 21-year-old USA international is on loan at Wigan Athletic and has stepped ahead of Brendan Galloway in Everton’s pecking order.

Henry Onyekuru

Provided that Everton can secure a work permit for Onyekuru, he could become a key player in their first-team next season.

The 21-year-old Nigeria international has scored 12 goals from the wing at Galatasaray this season and he is one of the most exciting young talents around.
