Henrikh Mkhitaryan making Arsenal pay for summer release with 8 goals and 8 assists already this season
Arsenal’s recent poor form has pundits talking of a potential relegation battle for the Gunners. One of the key reasons for their recent difficulties has been an inability to be creative in the final third.
Meanwhile, one of the more creative attacking midfielders in Premier League history remains an outcast at The Emirates whilst a player they let go is having one of Europe’s best seasons in midfield.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been in stellar form for Roma this season.

The 31-year-old Armenian has provided eight assists and scored eight goals for the Giallorossi so far this season. That is a goal activity ratio of 16 in just 18 games for the Italian side.
Playing as a central attacking midfielder, his preferred role, Mkhitaryan has thrived since making his loan move to Roma permanent in the summer.
The playmaker, who lost his place at Arsenal under Unai Emery, had his contract with the Gunners cancelled in the summer to allow his move to the Italian capital.
Now, he is posting numbers Arsenal fans can only dream of with his new club whilst the Gunners fail to create anything in attack.
It’s just another jab to Arsenal in what is becoming a horrid Premier League campaign for Mikel Arteta and his players.
