Hector Bellerin posts reaction as Joel Robles completes Leeds move
Hector Bellerin has lauded Joel Robles in reaction to the goalkeeper’s Leeds United move, which was confirmed by the club on Tuesday.
Joel has become the Whites’ eighth addition of the summer. .
The former Wigan and Everton man has joined on a free transfer after leaving Real Betis at the end of last season.
Obviously, it would be a surprise if Joel got much of a chance to play for Leeds. Illan Meslier has been the undisputed number one ever since just before the Whites sealed promotion.
And Meslier looks to be back to his best this season. So Joel is likely to compete with Kristoffer Klaesson for the number two spot over the course of the campaign.
It is not a bad move for Leeds. It certainly appeared that they missed having an experienced backup last season when Meslier was struggling.
And it seems that some are backing Joel to be a good signing given the role he has arrived for. The Spaniard took to Instagram to comment on the move.

Leeds may be hoping that Joel has an impact without playing too much. Meslier probably did suffer last season from not having a stronger backup.
Ideally, Jesse Marsch will not need to consider taking Meslier out of the firing line at any stage. But if that proves to be the case, the Whites may feel that Joel coming in has helped the young Frenchman maintain the standards required.
