Thierry Henry says Eden Hazard was a ‘joke’ at Chelsea

Chelsea signed Eden Hazard from Lille in a £32 m♛illi🌞on deal in the summer of 2012 ().

Everyone knew the Belgian was a special talent back then, but very few could’ve imagined that he would go on to become one of the best players in the Premier League.

Hazard played 352 games in all competitions ꦯfor Chelsea and directly contributed to 202 goals. He won two Premier League titles, two Europa Leagues, an FA Cup and a League Cup during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Thierry Henry knows Hazard well having coached him at the Belgian national team. The legendary Frenchman, on last night, raved about the former Chelsea man, calling him a ‘joke’ and a ‘joy to watch’꧙.

“One of the most that I admired in this ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚle🧜ague, Eden Hazard was just a joke,” Henry said.

“He can take the ball from his house and jus🥀t arrive at the Bridge and score, running past everybody. Tactics have nothing to do with that. H🏅e was a joy to watch.”

Hazard’s career went downhill after leaving Chelsea

Cဣhelsea sold Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 for an initial fee of £88.5 million ().

Everyone expected the Belgian to be a huge hit ♔at the Santiago Bernabeu, but for one reason or another, things just di🦩d not work out for him there.

Hazard played 76🎃 times for Real Madrid and managed only seven goals. He left the club last summer and just three months later, he announced his retirement.

One can only wonder how different his career would’ve been if he 𒅌just stayed at Chelsea in 2019.
