‘He trains incredible’: Klopp says £20m-rated Liverpool player is utterly ‘insane’ in training
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has praised Reds forward Takumi Minamino ahead of tonight’s Premier League clash.
Klopp’s charges host Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield in an absolutely crucial game for both sides.
However, it remains to be seen whether Minamino features in the matchday squad.

The 27-year-old hasn’t made the matchday squad for Liverpool’s last five league games.
Minamino has made 23 appearances in all competitions this term, but just eight of those have been starts.
In addition, the Japan international hasn’t started a single game in the Premier League this term.
Luis Diaz’s arrival at Anfield in January pushed Minamino further down the pecking order.
“He improved a lot”
However, the former Red Bull Salzburg man still boasts a pretty impressive goal ratio this term.
The £20million-rated player () has nine goals – plus an assist – from 917 minutes of football.
And Klopp has reiterated that Minamino has played a big part in Liverpool’s campaign.
The Liverpool boss also likes how his player copes with setbacks, never gives up, and stays positive.
“He trains incredible,” Klopp told the Liverpool . “Since Taki came here, he improved a lot.
“I like a lot the steps he made and all these kind of things. How he deals with the setbacks is insane.
“It’s really hard but he never gives up, he always stays positive and he always goes for everything.
“He’s a big part of the story of this team this year and last year.
“You should be really proud of them (Minamino and former Borussia Dortmund ace Shinji Kagawa).”
Minamino’s four goals and one assist in the Carabao Cup set Liverpool on their way to winning the trophy.
And his three goals in the FA Cup could well have paved the way for a triumph in that competition too.
