‘He screams’: Emerson shares what ‘explosive’ Tottenham man is really like behind the scenes

Tottenham Hotspur star Emerson Royal has shed some light on how Antonio Conte is behind the scenes.
The Italian is always an animated character on the touchline. He’s always seen yelling instructions at his players and his celebrations, at times, can be wild as well.
That has led to many fans wondering if he’s always like that or is it just on matchdays that he’s so hyped up. Emerson was asked about it on the earlier this week.
Here’s what the Brazilian said about his manager at Tottenham…
Emerson: Tottenham boss Conte is explosive
Asked about Conte, he said: “Every day he’s like that. The same way you see him on camera he is in training.
“He points, shows circles, but does not point to burn the player. He points because he’s very detail-oriented. And he says to me ‘Emerson, if you do it like this it’ll be better for you, it’ll be better for the team. And he showed me the same thing 10 times in game or in training.
“When the ball is here you have to take a step back, better position your body. And when it arrived, I took that step back that he said and it was what I needed to get out of the play.
“He’s explosive, he really screams, demands, you gotta be eating well if because if you’re not, you can’t stand it.”

TBR View:
Conte’s attitude and energy are what makes him the winner he is. The Italian is one of the best managers in the world and Tottenham’s fortunes could really change if their new boss gets the backing he needs.
Tottenham have looked good in the Premier League under Conte so far. Spurs are yet to lose a game in the league since the Italian’s arrival, and their most impressive display came against Liverpool a few days ago.
Harry Kane finally found the net, Son Heung-min looked threatening all game and to top it all off after picking a point against the Reds, Spurs qualified for the semi-final of the Carabao Cup by beating West Ham.
Most Tottenham fans will agree that this is their best chance of winning a trophy. The January transfer window is just around the corner and it will be interesting to see who they can bring in ahead of the business end of the season.
