‘He must start’… Joe Cole tells Chelsea not to sell ‘outstanding’ player in January
Joe Cole has given his verdict on speculation linking Conor Gallagher with a move away from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
The TNT Sports pundit does not think that Chelsea should sell Gallagher this month.
So, what has Joe Cole said about Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher? Let’s take a look.
Joe Cole tells Chelsea not to sell Conor Gallagher
Well, Joe Cole was hugely impressed by the display produced by Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher against Fulham on Saturday.
Chelsea beat Fulham at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League. Cole Palmer scored the only goal in the London derby in first-half injury time from the penalty spot.
Gallagher started the match for the Blues, and former Chelsea star Cole was impressed by the display produced by the 23-year-old.

The TNT Sports pundit has said that he hopes to see Gallagher in the Chelsea team come the end of the January transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Gallagher. There is speculation that Chelsea are looking for at least £45 million for the England international midfielder.
quotes Cole as saying about Gallagher: “You’ve got to credit the boys for getting it over the line. Gallagher outstanding again. He must start February in a Chelsea shirt. I’m really pleased for Pochettino.”
My View: Chelsea should not sell Conor Gallagher
In my opinion, Chelsea should not sell Conor Gallagher in the January transfer window.
Gallagher is one of the first names on the Chelsea teamsheet. Head coach Mauricio Pochettino is playing the midfielder regularly.
Yes, selling Gallagher would make Chelsea a lot of money in transfer fees, but the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners need to look at what is happening on the pitch as well.
Gallagher has made 20 appearances in the Premier League matches for Chelsea this season. He has given four assists in those games.
