‘He looks amazing’: Ian Wright blown away by 2021 West Ham signing
Premier League legend Ian Wright has heaped praise on West Ham United star Kurt Zouma for his performances since the start of the season.
The Frenchman joined the Hammers from Chelsea for £29.8 million in the summer (). There were a few eyebrows raised when the signing was announced, but he has barely put a foot wrong in West Ham’s colours.
Zouma started for the Irons against Aston Villa last weekend and he looked really good. He has settled in very well under David Moyes and Wright has raved about him while speaking on his .

He said on the : “Kurt Zouma looks amazing in that team.
“He does (look like a completely different player), honestly, he looks amazing.
“You looked at him at Chelsea and there was a jittery-ness about him. Now you look at him, he’s accomplished because he knows he’s a mainstay.
“He has got brilliant coaches there to help him and he’s going to play. He’s playing in a team with unbelievable energy.”

Zouma has played six times in the Premier League for West Ham this season and he has helped keep two clean sheets.
He averages 52.8 touches every game and has maintained a decent passing accuracy of 85 per cent. Zouma also averages 1.3 tackles, 0.7 interceptions and five clearances per 90 minutes, which is a very good record. ()
The Frenchman is yet to commit an error leading to a shot at goal, which shows how good he has been. If he can keep this up until the end of the season, the Hammers will have another fine campaign in the Premier League.
