‘He is unbelievable’… Gabriel Martinelli says £27m Arsenal player is absolutely incredible
Gabriel Martinelli has gone on the record to praise Leandro Trossard.
Speaking to the , the Brazilian was asked to name the best thing about playing with the Belgian at Arsenal, and he says that the winger isn’t just a very nice guy, he says he’s also an unbelievable player who can operate very well in tight spaces.
Trossard has almost been at Arsenal for a year now, and it’s fair to say he has impressed during that time.
The attacker has made an impact almost every single time he’s played for the Gunners. He’s been a brilliant super-sub, while he’s also shone when he’s been given a starting berth by Mikel Arteta.
Trossard is unbelievable
Martinelli spoke highly of his teammate.
“The best thing about Leandro Trossard is that he’s a very nice guy and on the pitch he is unbelievable and in a tight space he is a very good player,” Martinelli said.
What a player
Martinelli says that Trossard is unbelievable as a player, and we’re inclined to agree.
Not only does he have brilliant close control in tight spaces and the ability to beat a man, he’s also a very composed finisher and able to use both feet.
Factor in how versatile he is and how consistent he is, and you have to say that Trossard is one of the most talented players in this Arsenal squad.
Unfortunately for the Belgian, he’s competing with some incredible players for a spot in the starting XI, so he has to come off the bench more often than not, but, with that being said, whenever he does come off the bench, he makes his mark.
£27m for Trossard was an absolute bargain in January, and Arsenal are incredibly lucky to have such a talented player on their books.
