‘He is top’: Roberto Carlos really impressed by one Tottenham player
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been praised by Brazil icon Roberto Carlos, saying he’s a “top” player.
The Selecao legend was speaking about the Spurs star on on Sky Max.
This season could well see Kane secure two all-time goalscoring records – for Tottenham and the England national team.

The 29-year-old is currently on 260 competitive goals for Spurs, behind record holder Jimmy Greaves.
Meanwhile, Kane (51 England goals) is just two goals behind Wayne Rooney (53) in the Three Lions .
There’s no doubting that the Spurs and England man is one of the best strikers in world football.
And Carlos is one of just many who rates Kane highly.
When asked to name his favourite England players on Jamie & Harry’s World Cup Challenge, the 49-year-old replied: “Harry Kane. For me, he is top”.

Can Kane break his trophy duck this season?
As one of the best players in the world, it beggars belief that Kane is yet to lift a major trophy in his career.
He has come close for both club and country, getting to finals, but so far, silverware has eluded him.
It remains to be seen what happens with Tottenham this term.
They’ve lost form in the past few weeks, and are out of the Carabao Cup.
Optimism regarding silverware has gone down as of late at N17.
England, despite their recent poor performances, could well step it up at the World Cup.
But it won’t be easy, with plenty of top teams all vying for football’s biggest trophy.
This could prove to be a huge season for Kane, and hopefully everything clicks so that he can finally lift a major trophy.
If he fails once again, then you have to wonder whether he’ll finally decide to up sticks and go elsewhere.
Kane turns 30 this year, so he hasn’t got too long to land a trophy befitting his incredible talent.
