The outlet claims Spurs have asked Boro to be kept informed over the future of the 22-year-old following the match.

However, Tottenham aren’t the only club reportedly eyeing him.

90Min claim that Manchester United, West Ham and Crystal Palace are also watching him closely.

And in Europe, Atletico Madrid, Ajax and RB Leipzig have also reportedly been keeping an eye on his performances.

Conte continues to have serious problems at right wing-back.

Tottenham have struggled in that position since Kyle Walker left Spurs in 2017.

The likes of Serge Aurier, Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal have all failed to make the position their own.

While January signing Dejan Kulusevski can play at right wing-back, his regular position is further up the pitch.

“You can see how good he is”

Ahead of Spurs’ disastrous FA Cup exit at the hands of Chris Wilder’s side, Jonathan Woodgate spoke highly of Jones.

He told BBC Sport, via : “He is playing a role for Middlesbrough as a right-wing back, but he is normally a right winger.

“He is so quick running with the ball, his deliveries are good and he does not stop running.

“What he has done this season, they got him from Tooting and Mitcham a few years ago with the head of academy and recruitment brought him in, and you can see how good he is.

“As a defender, you hate playing against pace and he has that in abundance.

“It is credit to the head of recruitment, and there is a reason why they did not bring back Djed Spence from Nottingham Forest is because of Isaiah Jones and how good he has been.”
