‘He is just unbelievable’… David Seaman blown away by £22m Tottenham player

After a tantalising weekend of football, David Seaman has actually chosen to single-out one Tottenham Hotspur player for praise.

Seaman was speaking on his podcast ‘’ and was particularly impressed with one of Ange Postecoglou’s forwards.

Although it must be difficult coming from an Arsenal icon, Seaman was so impressed with the resurgence Son Heung-min has been showing.

The pundit chose to compare Son to Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez, a player who isn’t faring as well in front of goal.

: “When you look at Spurs, Son is just unbelievable. He runs at pace, but he is under control as well.

“Whereas sometimes I look at Nunez and I just think he is running at pace but he is not quite under control.”

Of course, many did think that 31-year-old Son had lost his burst of pace.

However, a positional change under his new boss has reinvented the forward’s fortunes, a player who is now thriving centrally.

And although Son will be wanting to captain his side to victories, he will be proud of yesterday’s showing.

David Seaman reserved special praise for Tottenham’s Son Heung-min after City draw

Whilst Seaman isn’t the first to praise Tottenham’s Son, it does bode well that the striker is still firing in James Maddison’s absence.

The duo seemed to have struck up a partnership that replicated the one he had with a certain Harry Kane.

And with both of those England internationals now unavailable for different reasons, Son hasn’t dropped his levels.

In fact, Son is now inspiring those around him, .

Johnson was flawless in his assist, something that caught the eye of Pep Guardiola.

And with Dejan Kulusevski playing in the number 10, Spurs have found their creative freedom once again.

Whilst Seaman chose to compare Tottenham’s Son to Nunez, the two are entirely different players.

However, Darwin Nunez might actually be a profile that works extremely well under Ange Postecoglou’s philosophy.

Either way, Spurs will now be buoyed heading into a crucial meeting with West Ham United on Thursday.
