‘He is frightening’: BBC pundit blown away by Leeds 24-year-old
Leeds United winger Daniel James has been praised by BBC Sport’s Kevin Ratcliffe after the Whites ace starred for Wales on Tuesday night.
The Elland Road speedster helped his nation record a crucial point in a 1-1 draw against Belgium to secure a second-place finish in Group E.
This means home advantage in the play-off semi-finals for an eventual place at Qatar 2022.

James routinely beat his man for pace and assisted his nation’s equaliser, showing persistence to get into space down the left and cross for Kieffer Moore’s goal.
In the 50th minute, the 24-year-old Leeds star burst forward following a Dedryck Boyata mistake and sent a low cross into the box.
The ball rolled into Connor Roberts’ path, only for the 26-year-old to slice wide.
“When Dan James uses his pace, he is frightening,” Ratcliffe said (). “I’d like to see him take on players a bit more with it.”
Wales will find out their playoff fate when the draw is on 26 November.
Leeds are next in action on Sunday when they head to Tottenham in the Premier League.
