‘Having a mare’… TalkSPORT pundit says £25m Tottenham player was dreadful at Fulham
Tottenham Hotspur were brought back down to earth with a humbling 3-0 defeat at Fulham on Saturday.
It came just a week after Tottenham had picked up a statement 4-0 win on the road at Villa Park.
Ange Postecoglou’s men were second best at Craven Cottage though, with Fulham deserving plenty of credit for their performance.
Spurs particularly struggled to progress the ball through midfield, with Yves Bissouma, James Maddison and Pape Matar Sarr all giving the ball possession far too often.
With Rodrigo Bentancur starting on the bench on Saturday, Paul Hawksbee has admitted he was desperate to see the Uruguayan replace Bissouma.

Hawksbee disappointed with Bissouma’s latest Tottenham display
Speaking on , Hawksbee discussed Tottenham’s lacklustre performance at Fulham.
“But it was the sloppiness in possession throughout the team,” the pundit said. “Son was giving the ball away a lot.
“Maddison has not really been the same player and as you said, the midfield… I was saying to get Bentancur on, Bissouma was having a mare. It seemed a whole team that was just sloppy.”

Bissouma has failed to rediscover his early-season form which helped Spurs to a flawless start to the Premier League campaign.
In truth, the man has struggled ever since his red card at Luton Town back in October.
According to , Bissouma completed just one dribble at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
While he completed 93 per cent of his passes on the day, it was his ability to carry the ball from deeper areas which was such a huge asset to Tottenham earlier this campaign.
Somewhere along the way, the Mali international seems to have suffered from a loss of confidence.
Tottenham will be hoping the 27-year-old rediscovers his best form ahead of a crucial run as Ange Postecoglou bids to guide Spurs back into the Champions League.
