Harvey Elliott sends Jurgen Klopp statement over Liverpool role next season
Harvey Elliott, while speaking on the , has issued Jurgen Klopp a statement of intent over his Liverpool role for next season by declaring himself ready to make a difference for the Premier League side.
The 18-year-old has been one of the real sensations of the Championship season since joining Blackburn Rovers on loan in October, and is determined to now take his talent to the next stand and make a name for himself on his return to Anfield.
No teenager in either of England’s top-four divisions has been than Elliott this season, with the youngster lending a hand to 17 over his 40 appearances with six scored and a further 11 assisted.

There is little more that Elliott could have shown Klopp during his time in the Championship to convince the German that he is ready to be given a real chance at Liverpool next season, so his self-belief is well placed to head back to Anfield feeling truly confident.
Mowbray has afforded Elliott every opportunity to display his talents in a side that has not always been at its best, with only five teams heading into the last weekend of the second-tier season having than Blackburn (25) since the turn of the year.
The Rovers boss even expressed last month ‘we can’t get the ball to him enough’ () such has been the difference that Elliott has made to the Ewood Park natives.
It is also why Klopp should feel comfortable relying on Elliott, knowing the – who has featured across the attacking midfield line and as a false nine this term – is able to cope with the responsibility of being an influential figure week in, week out.
