One to Watch: Harvey Barnes excels again for West Brom vs Norwich
Harvey Barnes was the undoubted star of the show as West Bromwich Albion recorded a convincing 4-2 win over Norwich at the Hawthorns.
It continued a brilliant start to the season for the Leicester City loanee, who has now scored three goals and assisted a further two in his eight league appearances for West Brom thus far.
There’s a certain crispness about Barnes’ style, and his delightful finish to put West Brom 4-0 up typified it.
With the ball sliding across his body, the English midfielder opened up his body and placed a perfectly struck out-curling shot into the far corner with his in-step.

West Brom coach Darren Moore was full of praise for the 20-year-old after the match.
“We saw his talent last season at Barnsley, but we felt that could be a perfect fit at West Brom with the players we’ve got,”
“At the moment it looks that way, he’s gelling with his teammates, he’s got a wonderful eye for goal, he’s cool and composed in the final third and he presents a threat to the opposition.
“We’re pleased that Harvey’s with us and I hope he’s enjoying his football.”

Playing in a central role, Barnes was even more influential than what he has been playing out wide.
Again, it highlighted his versatility.
Barnes completed four key passes, three of his five dribbles and 25 of his 36 passes.
It was an excellent creative performance that demonstrated that Barnes does not need a huge amount of possession in order to be influential and impactful.
