Harry Redknapp says £63m striker Tottenham want to sign looks like ‘a fantastic player’
Harry Redknapp has now heaped praise on a player Ange Postecoglou wants at Tottenham this summer.
The Australian has now had ten months to examine his Spurs squad and make decisions on who he wants to keep in N17 since arriving from Celtic in June – as well as which areas need improvement.
So far, the 58-year-old has already strengthened his backline and attack with the January signings of Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner.
However, there is another forward Ange Postecoglou is believed to want at Tottenham – one who Harry Redknapp has now praised…
Harry Redknapp says Tottenham target Alexander Isak is a “fantastic player”
Well, the man who oversaw games as Tottenham boss has spoken very highly of Newcastle No.14 Alexander Isak – a player Spurs would like to sign this summer.
It was who claimed that Postecoglou wants to sign the Sweden international this summer.
If a deal does materialise, it would seemingly come with the approval of Redknapp.
The 77-year-old talkSPORT: “The boy up front Isak, looks a fantastic player, scoring goals every game recently.”

Redknapp is spot on.
Isak has impressively scored eight goals in his last ten Premier League appearances – while also providing an assist – to take his tally up to goals in just 23 Premier League outings this season.
Make no mistake about it, the man – who his fellow Swede and Tottenham No.21 Dejan Kulusevski recently praised – is undoubtedly one of the most effective strikers in Europe right now.
Ange Postecoglou may be disappointed
By the sounds of it, Postecoglou probably shouldn’t get his hopes up about signing Isak this summer.

The man from Solna recently revealed that he loves playing for Newcastle, and is committed to seeing out the project on Tyneside.
Isak iNews: “I came here for the project, I absolutely love playing here, I really feel at home. I want to finish this season in a good way for me and the team. I love playing here.”
Therefore, it would be a major shock if the 24-year-old joined Tottenham this summer, or moved anywhere else for that matter.
