Harry Redknapp predicts who’s going to win the Premier League this season

After what ended as a two-horse race between Arsenal and Manchester City last season, Liverpool will hope that they can immediately mount a title challenge under Arne Slot.

Slot has begun incredibly well in pre-season, already beating Mikel Arteta’s team stateside.

And whilst it would be unwise to make too many conclusions based on pre-season performances, Liverpool fans will take confidence that they can avoid a post Jurgen Klopp slump.

That being said, Manchester City currently look slightly worse off heading into the new season given they have lost the services of Julian Alvarez, who will now try his hand in La Liga.

As far as Arsenal are concerned, supporters of the club may be feeling pretty confident right now having seen the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori.

However, Jurrien Timber’s latest Arsenal injury will be a concern – even if it’s only thought to be a minor issue.

All that being said, when speaking to , Harry Redknapp has now provided his prediction on which of the three mentioned clubs will win the league next season.

Harry Redknapp explains why he thinks Arsenal will win the 2024/25 Premier League

Redknapp seemed pretty adamant that Arsenal will be victorious this time around, having narrowly missed out to Man City in the past two seasons.

Interestingly, the pundit didn’t even give Liverpool a mention – perhaps not convinced that Slot can challenge in his first campaign.

Redknapp said: “I fancy Arsenal this year. I just think Arsenal look like they are getting one or two new faces coming in to strengthen the squad even more – they’ve been so close the last couple of years.

“I mean Man City have just been incredible haven’t they, for me they’ve been the best team not only in the Premier League but in the world – the last four or five years they’ve been unbelievable.

“But I just get a feeling about Arsenal this year, and I know Spurs fans wouldn’t like that, but I’ve got a feeling Arsenal could win it this year.”

It’s a bold move to predict any side to better a Pep Guardiola team, but Arsenal do look well-equipped once again.

Of course, if Man City beat Arsenal to Pedro Neto, that could swing the pendulum in their favour.

Over at Anfield, fans will hope that Martin Zubimendi can help Slot achieve immediate success at Liverpool
