Harry Redknapp namechecks two Wolves players who have impressed him
Wolverhampton Wanderers have been enjoying another fine season in 2019/20.
The Black Country club are currently eighth in the Premier League table and will soon resume their Europa League campaign against Espanyol in the round of 32.
The club are going in the right direction and have gained plenty of admirers along the way.

One man who is particularly enjoying what Wolves are doing right now is former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp.
The 72-year-old said : “They’re fantastic. I’ve been really impressed with them. I watched the game against Tottenham before Christmas, and I thought they were magnificent. They were so unlucky to lose the game.
“Some of the football they play is absolutely top drawer, they’re a real pleasure to watch.”

Redknapp then reserved special praise for midfielder Joao Moutinho and striker Raul Jimenez.
“I love Moutinho from the times I watched him all those years ago in Portugal, but they’re full of quality players,” he added.
“Jimenez has adapted to English football so well, too. He’s made for the English game, he looks the complete all-round centre-forward – excellent.”
TBR’s view – Moutinho the maestro
It is nice to see Moutinho coming in for some praise from a pundit, as often his contributions can be overlooked – although not by the adoring Wolves supporters, of course.
Adama Traore has grabbed a lot of headlines this season and £30 million signing Jimenez () has continued to show himself to be a top-quality striker.

But £100,000-a-week star Moutinho () is the man that makes Wolves tick.
He may be 33 years of age but the star appears to be absolutely fine physically, playing in a highly impressive 39 games already this season (including Europa League qualifying).
With 11 assists (), 4.0 long balls per 90, 2.2 key passes per 90 and a pass completion rate of 85% (), he is the man who makes things happen for Wolves and his £5 million transfer fee () looks like daylight robbery.
