Harry Kane responds when asked whether he misses the Arsenal fanbase

Arsenal were reacquainted with one of their long-time rivals on Tuesday night as Harry Kane took to the Emirates Stadium pitch with Bayern Munich.

First and foremost, the Gunners were obvious💫ly eager to get a good result 🧜on their home turf ahead of the crucial second leg in Germany next week.

However, Arsenal also had an opportunity to right some wrongs against a tea👍m that had been the bane of their Champions League existence in the 2010sඣ.

And finally, Mikel Arteta’s charges had a chance to deliver yet more misery 𒅌to the Tottenham Hotspur legend, whose new club is now set to relinquish the Bundesliga title.

In the end, both sides h🦹ad to make do with a draw, as Arsenal took the lead through Bukayo Saka before falling behind to goals from Serge Gnabry and Kane.

The Gunners salvaged a draw through Leandro Trossard’s second-half effort, which means they haven’t got a mountain to cli𒀰mb ahead of the trip to the Allianz Arena.

What has Harry Kane said about Arsenal fans?

Kane’s penalty took him to 15 career goals against Arsenal. He has also scored more goals against the Gunners at the Emirates than a🎶ny other visiting♏ player in the stadium’s history (6).

Speaking to reporter – and Arsenal fan – Laura Woods after the match, Kane was asked whether he had missed “this lo🐭t behind the caꦓmera”.

He replied: “I think they have a sof🧔t respect for me!”

Arsenal 𝔉fans will probably say 🦩otherwise, but you can’t deny that there have been some epic tussles between Kane’s former club and the Gunners over the years.

That said, with the second leg coming up, this isn’t over. Arsenal will hope to get the job 🤪done next week and get into the semi-finals.

As an added bonus for the Gunners, they have the opportunity to condemn Kane’s Bayern to their first trop🍃hy-less season since 2012 if they get the better of them next week.
