Haro says Bellerin is set to return to Arsenal as Betis weigh up decision
Real Betis president Angel Haro that Hector Bellerin is set to return to Arsenal, but hinted that they could yet look at a further deal for the right-back.
Bellerin has spent the year on loan with Los Verdiblancos. In all competitions, the Spaniard made 32 appearances for the club. And it was clear just how much his spell meant to him as he was visibly emotional after their last home game of the campaign.

The reaction certainly hinted that the 27-year-old is not expecting to be back next year.
But it does appear likely that Bellerin will be on the move this summer. Takehiro Tomiyasu joined the Gunners last year. And when fit, he has been absolutely superb.

Meanwhile, Cedric Soares has stepped up on a number of occasions. The Portuguese is a very decent understudy. And it is not clear whether Bellerin would want that sort of role upon his return.
. And it is hard to see Mikel Arteta handing him fresh terms. So a summer departure may well be on the cards.
Haro has not shut the door on Bellerin re-signing with Betis. However, he did suggest that there are no plans for the defender beyond his scheduled return to Arsenal.
“He’s an excellent player, but he’s owned by Arsenal and has to get back there. He felt the spirit of Betis Sevilla and we’ll see what happens,” .
Bellerin set to return to Arsenal
It would seemingly be best for all parties if Arsenal agreed a deal with Betis for Bellerin. The Gunners have moved on. And clearly, the full-back is happy in Andalusia.
That does not mean that Arsenal need to hand Betis a massive discount. If Bellerin does stick around in North London, he would definitely strengthen their options at right-back as cover for Tomiyasu.
But obviously, a deal being agreed is probably something all parties can get on board with.
