‘Happens at Tottenham’… Jamie O’Hara says no club wants to sign ‘shocking’ Manchester United player
Jamie O’Hara has given his verdict on Manchester United forward Anthony Martial and has made comparisons with Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Tottenham player and talkSPORT pundit was not impressed by how Martial played against Bournemouth.
So, what has Jamie O’Hara said about Manchester United forward Anthony Martial? Let’s take a look.
Jamie O’Hara slams Manchester United forward Anthony Martial
Well, Manchester United went down to Bournemouth at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
It was one of the worst performances from Erik ten Hag’s side this season. The Red Devils were really bad.
Anthony Martial started the match for United. Ten Hag deployed the French forward up front in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
He did not play well. The 28-year-old did try, especially in the first half, but he failed to do much of note when he had the ball and did not make the right movements.
Former Tottenham Hotspur player and talkSPORT pundit O’Hara was not impressed by the display produced by Martial and has slammed him.

The pundit has noted that just like at Tottenham Hotspur, United have some players who are simply not good, and that includes Martial.
O’Hara said about Martial on : “Because no one wants him. Because no one wants him, mate. You are paying him a fortune, no one wants him.
“You are stuck with him. This is the problem. The same thing happens at Tottenham.
“You get these players you don’t want them, you call them deadwood. They end up back in your side because players get injured.”
The former Spurs player added: “Gabby, he wants to get into Anthony today because again another shocking performance.”
O’Hara continued: “He was poor today as well. He was pretty shocking out there, he really was.”
Anthony Martial not a Manchester United success story
In my view, Anthony Martial has not been a success at Manchester United. Some would even say that he should not even be at the club.
Like Marcus Rashford, Martial showed a lot of promise in his early years, but he is 28 now. He has simply failed to fulfil his promise.
Martial should now be at the top of his game and leading the charge for United. He is not. I do not think that the forward has a future at United.
Martial has made 209 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The forward has scored 63 goals and given 28 assists in those games.
