‘Hands off’, ‘I’ll drive him!’ – Tottenham fans react as Monaco declare interest in Serge Aurier
Tottenham defender, Serge Aurier, is interesting Monaco, according to reports from and Spurs fans have been reacting to the news on social media.
The 27-year-old has been a regular this season for Jose Mourinho’s side but has suffered at times with ill-discipline and a few rash displays. Those displays have, at times, seen calls for a replacement to be brought into the club.

And it appears that those fans who want Aurier gone could get their wish, with Monaco apparently now keen on bringing the Ivorian to the club.
Aurier only appeared eight times last season but has racked up 26 PL appearances this season. He’s been pretty productive, too, contributing four assists to the cause and scoring once.
However, Spurs could well be tempted to sell Aurier if a good bid comes their way.
Twitter, then, has seen some mixed reactions from fans ahead of their team’s trip to Sheffield United this evening.
Here’s a look at how some Spurs fans reacted to the news that Serge Aurier could be on his way out of north London.
Does he need a lift to the airport?

Not unless we sign Castagne and Nathan Ferguson

All of spurs fans saying let him go… he has his bad games but since the restart has been phenomenal up and down that wing. He works well in the system and is best attacking full back you’ll get …. sissoko fills in watch the game properly and you’ll understand the roles…

Sell and I’ll help him pack

It would be self harming to let him leave without a replacement. He has improved a lot under Jose. Why is the club even considering selling the fella?
— Jide (@JideHowardChase)
Hes been looking much better under Jose. Hes the only right back we have. Surely we need to be in the market for a second right back rather than looking to sell. If we sell we need to buy 2.

Let him go sell him
