‘Had to confirm on Instagram myself’: Some Arsenal fans react to potential big hint on star’s exit
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on a potential big hint dropped by the MLS account on Mesut Ozil’s future.
The 32-year-old has been frozen out at Arsenal for over six months now, and has not played a single minute of competitive football after English football resumed last June.
Ozil was even left out of Arsenal’s Premier League and Europa League squad lists, and while clubs have a chance to update those in January, it remains to be seen whether he’ll still be at the Emirates.

With the January transfer window now in business, speculation has been making the rounds about the 2014 World Cup winner, and one such report claims he’s in advanced talks with MLS side DC United.
According to , Ozil has reportedly been offered an ‘attractive’ package which includes the expansion of his M10 brand across the United States.
The outlet claims that the offer includes the expansion of Ozil’s 39 Steps Coffee brand in their Audi Field stadium, his own merchandise line and plans have been drawn up to make him the ‘face’ of the Washington-based side.
BR Football was one of the outlets which shared Chris Wheatley’s report on their socials, and one of the comments was from the MLS – the eyes emoji:
