Guendouzi sends interesting message to Saliba on Instagram after leaving Arsenal yesterday
Arsenal’s Matteo Guendouzi has written on Instagram that he wants Arsenal defender William Saliba to join him at Marseille.
Guendouzi’s loan move from Arsenal to the French side was confirmed yesterday.
And it seems that Guendouzi would like Saliba to leave Arsenal with him and link up in new surroundings.
Struggles to get picked
Both Guendouzi and Saliba have struggled for game time at Arsenal over the past year.
The Gunners loaned out the pair of them, and Mikel Arteta seemingly remains unconvinced by them both this time around.
In terms of their long term futures it is Saliba who surely has a better chance of making it at the Emirates than Guendouzi, though.
The midfielder seems to have burned his bridges at Arsenal, but there is still hope at the North London club that Saliba could make a success of his time at the club.
If Saliba is to do that he will need to continue to impress in Ligue 1 over the whole campaign, as Arsenal are set to increase their defensive options this summer in the transfer window.
