‘Great’ £38m forward is not keen on West Ham move this summer

West Ham United have been busy on the transfer front in recent weeks and it looks as though they’re just getting started.

Brazilian midfielder Luis Guilherme has joined the Hammers from Palmeiras, while veteran goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has arri൩ved at the London Stadium on a free transfer.

West Ham are now likely to prioritise a new centre-back, with Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Max Kilman said to be on the radar.

The Hammers could then look at bolsteri♛ng th📖eir attacking ranks, considering they were somewhat short of numbers up front last term.

West Ham have recently been꧒ linked with a player recently de𒅌emed “one of the best strikers in the world”.

However, a new report has suggested that he’s not interested in joining the Hammers this su꧅mmer.

Romelu Lukaku not interested in West Ham move

The player in question is Belgium international Romelu Lukaku, who is surplus to requirements at Chelsea.

recently claimed that West Ham were mulling over a move for the 31-year-old as an alternative to Lille ace Jonathan David.

However, the has now r🌳eported that he’s ‘not looking to join’ the Hammer𝐆s and is ‘hoping that a move overseas will open up.’

Napoli, Fenerbahce and Saudi Pro League clubs have also been linked with a mov꧙e for Lukaku.

West Ham better off looking elsewhere

Lukaku is a great player who’🦋d do a good job for West Ham, considering his impressive record at the highest level.

“Let’s not forget tha🀅t heܫ’s one of the best strikers in the world,” Luca Toni told DAZN, via , last season.

“He allows you 💮play long balls forward and helps the team move up the pitch. 𓂃Lukaku gives you depth and scores plenty of goals, he’s a great player.”

However, Lukaku is also 31 years old and reportedly has a salary o༺f £325,000-a-week ꦦat Chelsea.

Add to that a reported £38million price tag, and the Hammers face spending a lot of money in transfer fee and wages for a player with virtually no res🍒ale value.

With all that in mind, West Ham would🧜 be better off looking elsewhere.
