Graham Roberts sends message to Christian Eriksen on Twitter after PL move
Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to react to the news that Christian Eriksen has sealed his return to the Premier League by joining Brentford, two years after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.
Eriksen was heavily linked with a move to the Bees during the latter stages of the January transfer window. Of course, he became a free agent in December with Inter Milan unable to select the Dane.

Eriksen was fitted with a defibrillator following his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 with Denmark. And Serie A regulations do not allow players to be involved if they have one.
It is remarkable that the 29-year-old is able to play again, let alone at the highest level. And Thomas Frank’s men look set to benefit. on a deal that will initially run until the end of the season.

Eriksen and the Danish squad united the football world after those desperate scenes last summer. So it is no surprise that the news of his move to Brentford has been so warmly-received by fans of all clubs.
For Tottenham supporters, it will be particularly exciting to see Eriksen secure his move. Of course, he spent the large majority of his career in North London. And he was one of their best players throughout his spell.
So many will echo the thoughts of club legend Roberts, who sent an emotional message to the Dane following the announcement of his move to Brentford…
wonderful to see you back playing football again. One of the best players to ever play for and the fans still love you!
