Graham Potter lauds West Brom boss Sam Allardyce
Graham Potter has suggested that Sam Allardyce has had a fantastic career, and insisted that the West Bromwich Albion boss does not get the credit he deserves – .
The Baggies host Brighton on Saturday in another crucial game down the bottom of the Premier League table.

West Brom are looking for only their third league win of the campaign. And they find themselves 11 points adrift of safety with 13 games remaining.
Allardyce is yet to have the impact that many expected him to when he replaced Slaven Bilic earlier this season. But Potter insisted that he has nothing but respect for the former England boss.
“He’s had a fantastic career – he’s another manager who doesn’t get the credit that he deserves. When you see his team play, they’ve got lots of qualities and attributes, ways to win,” he said, .

“Regardless of stylistic differences, it’s about trying to get one more goal than the other team, it’s about improving teams and players and I think Sam Allardyce has done that throughout his career. I have the utmost respect for him.”
Brighton themselves, could really do with a win at the Hawthorns. They have taken two points from their last three and now find themselves just four points above Fulham.
Their record on the road is however, significantly better than their home record. So that will leave the Seagulls with plenty of optimism heading into the weekend.
But West Brom are getting to the stage where they simply cannot afford to lose many more games – particularly when coming up against teams who are not yet safe.
And judging by Potter’s comments, his Brighton side have no intention of taking Allardyce’s men lightly.
